Background
Starting point
The customer wanted a reliable, properly finished solution at the property in Stewkley. The starting point was older property roof with moss and overgrowth requiring complete renewal and a substantial thermal upgrade. The priority was to correct the issue properly and leave a durable, professional finish.
Existing condition
Older property roof with moss and overgrowth requiring complete renewal and a substantial thermal upgrade. The existing construction and surrounding details were assessed so the scope could focus on the areas genuinely requiring attention.
Challenges
"The main consideration was integrating the new work correctly with the existing property while maintaining weathering, finish and build quality. No unusual additional challenge is recorded for this historic project. Additional project context: A repeat customer who had previously used QC for the same roof type on the main house. The new installation ran well and produced particularly strong verge detailing and before/after evidence."
